Memory House

A blend of dynamic movement and quiet atmosphere, Memoryhouse unfolds as a journey through myth and memory. The body becomes a living map, guiding the audience into a space that feels both dreamlike and familiar.

A Journey into the Heart of Myth

Memoryhouse is a lyrical and ecstatic passage into the eternal core of myth, traced on the human body within an atmosphere of dream and remembrance. A mysterious tribe of figures covered in ash evokes the ancient world: Sisyphus, the cunning deceiver condemned to roll a boulder up the mountain only to fall and begin again; the Satyr, half man and half goat, master of music and Dionysian desire; and the Moirai, the three women who guide the fate of humanity. Framed by a monumental wave inspired by Japanese woodblock prints and the sunlit skateparks of California, the work is both kinetic and meditative, merging fiery contemporary dance with installation art of a Zen-like stillness.

The Movement

The choreography is marked by intensity and symbolism, where physicality becomes a living map of myth. The dancers explore the limits of their endurance, embodying figures from antiquity while weaving their own personal memories into a shared landscape of resilience and transformation.

About the Sound

The sound design acts as both memory and presence, blending echoes of music history with contemporary textures. Its shifting tones create an acoustic terrain that mirrors the dance: at times fiery and urgent, at others quiet and reflective, always shaping the atmosphere of dream and myth.
